Opis treści
The “Outlines of Memory” are an album containing the accounts of people who during the Second World War suffered at the hands of the German and Soviet totalitarian regimes. Seven Polish artists took up the challenge of illustrating their heart-wrenching stories.
These testimonies reflect the experiences of specific individuals ? victims of Nazism and Communism. By presenting personal accounts and almost 100 illustrations executed utilizing various graphic means, the “Outlines of Memory” tell the tragic story of the dual occupation of Poland.
Authors of illustrations: Jacek Frąś, Paweł Janczarek, Agata Lędźwa, Jacek Michalski, Mateusz Rakowicz, Sylwia Restecka, Przemysław Truściński.
