Ernest Cunningham, as well as all members of his family, killed someone, and some more than once. Why? This is how life circumstances developed, about which Cunningham will tell in detail, unraveling another murder. The thing is that during a family reunion at a ski resort, the Cunninghams find a frozen body with a blackened face in the snow. Anyone can be a killer. But who?
The narrator, as he promises at the beginning of the novel, follows the "Ten Commandments of the Detective Novel" by Ronald Knox. So read them carefully if you intend to identify the killer before Ernest brings him to light.
However, the ending will surprise you in any case, and the whimsical story with a skillfully constructed plot, murderous irony and black humor will captivate you from the first pages.
