She, along with the other heirs of the nine great houses, will take part in a deadly test of wits and skill. If she succeeds, Harrowgarc will gain immortality and power, becoming the emperor's Lictor. However, no necromancer can achieve this without their sword-wielding knight. Without his blade, Gideon Harrow will fall, and the Ninth House will die. Although, of course, some things are better left dead.
