Her relatives constantly ask her about relationships. So, when she is invited to another wedding, she decides to find someone to pretend to be her boyfriend. Anyone. A chance acquaintance, Reginald Cleaves, is perfect for the role: a little strange and extremely handsome. For Reggie, a centuries-old vampire, pretending to be Amelia's boyfriend is great fun. And if it helps him escape from vengeful vampires, why not?
