Yves the rat lives on an island in the middle of the sea. Yves loves the sound of the storms, the sand dunes and his old lighthouse. Captain Rabbit Kurt lives on another island in the middle of the sea. Kurt loves the salty air, his fisherman's house and the big green dam. And they both feel quite lonely... Wouldn't it be cool to share your hobbies with someone? With a friend? But what to do if friendship is close at hand and yet so far away? They have to think about it... Another time, the friends decide to set up their own boarding house with a seagull taxi to boot. This way they can share their happiness with guests who come to the North Sea.
