Thirteen-year-old Ashley Rayburn is a positive girl with a dark past. While her father is in prison, Ashley moves from foster home to foster home, never staying anywhere for long. The social workers don't know what to do with her anymore - not because she's any different, but because her problems seem to find her. But then Ashley's luck changes: she finds new foster parents who are ready to love her, a best friend, and the opportunity to paint. But life gets complicated again when she stumbles across a case of special body paints that transform her from an artist to the world's newest superhero! Ashley is thrilled, until a government agency comes after her to get the colours back! She has to make tough decisions to protect her new parents and experience what it's like to be part of a real family.
