Jack Smith has a superhero jaw, cute dimples on his cheeks, and handsome arms with massive biceps that both annoy and attract Elsie. He is a sharp-tongued, charismatic and confident young man who keeps his eyes on his brother's girlfriend, whom he does not trust at all. And for good reason. After all, Elsie is not a librarian, but a physicist with a doctorate. She works in a lab during the day and goes out with a fake boyfriend in the evening for money. But the worst part is that Jack is an experimental physicist who ruthlessly destroyed his mentor's career and almost the entire scientific industry. For this, Elsie has hated him since she was twelve years old and intends to make life unbearable for this piece of space junk when they work together at MIT. But will the vigilante get the job of her dreams if the final decision is up to Jack? And what will she do when the distance between her and her sworn enemy is reduced to a kiss?
