We would like to present a collection of articles devoted to the United Nations Organisation to our Readers. The Organisation's objective is to maintain international peace and security, develop friendly relations and cooperation between nations as well as supporting and respecting human rights and basic values. The monograph focuses on the role of the UNO in shaping and functioning of the international security system.
